We formed a Cricket team in our office and believe me we all await for saturday. Throughout the week we talk about the match between the teams and start the sledging even when we are at work. we Named ourselves lions. Thinking too much about my team and its ups and downs made me write about it too. This is a small narration of who we are and what we went thru recently... ( you can also find this in the www.bangalorecricketleague.com. Crazy arent we? we created a website too...)
The LIONS…A Bunch of Cricket Fanatics spearheaded by The Team Manager Navid Khan and Captain Praveen VasudevaMurthy. Having John, Muthanna, Rajesh, Adarsh and Bhanu Prakash as the Ace bowlers, the opponents really have a tough time in dealing their firing cylinders.Bhanu Prakash a professional Cricketer knows the fine distinction of the game and acts as a subordinate to the captain in setting strategies. His cover drives and text book pull shots are a Visual Treat for any cricketing Fan.Jomy Jose, a zealous encourager, keeps the stumps and cheers the team to find all the left out energy.Adarsh and Prabhu Ambrose are the opening batsmen, who face the raging bowlers with consummate ease and score runs for the team. Sudhanshu Arbol, the new kid to the team is a silver lining on the horizon. He played a cameo role that catapulted the score past 100 in the recent match against Bulls. His powerful shots made the fielders chase the balls, gave them a close look on how rapidly balls cross the boundary line, made them taste the frustration of chasing and being chased out of the game. This team is built on the Passion for the game and spirit of being winners. The recent match proved what the team is made of. Forget not, they tasted this victory by licking their wounds of the previous game that was lost horribly.
Rajesh Earned Hatrick Wickets.Sudhanshu Scored the fastest 25Prabhu scored 51* Not out with a Flamboyant six towards the off side. The cricketing Battle that we have now is no less in spirit on par with any international cricket that is played. The Lions are here to hunt their preys. Calculative, determined and ferocious they are.... Come, cheer the sportsmanship.

The Moving Train
I had an opportunity to travel with couple of my friends from Coimbatore to Bangalore.
The day was cool and breezy. The train swayed along and still continued to be on the track, the light and the mood was a photographer's delight. I adjusted myself very close to the window and waited patiently watching for the right moment carefully and acted very fast to get the action captured. Once I got the Perspective of the trees in line, an air of enthusiasm engulfed me to click more and everything that followed after that was what i was looking for. My Friend preetha posed as if i wasn't there in front of her with a camera, that attitude gave a good innocent look for the picture. In the second picture, the gaussion blur was added in post production. Add your comments, it will add more meaning to the work done.

The Nomad in me…
The Nomad in me always wants to be away from the crowd, be on his own and do what he likes. I often hear a voice saying “Between the journey and the destination lies the learning”. To absent myself form my roots and belong to wherever I go and live an appropriate life of the terrain I visit. An unfathomable cloud engulfs me to be different from I am What I am right now.

Shutter Bugs
We decided to do a second assignment on 29th as it was a weekly off for me and suki's classes were in evening. Our AI AF camera lacks a lot of Features that a digital SLR's possess but we dont. Suki Decided to Shoot the spice of life, i wanted to show the reality and poverty in Black and white. We decided to meet up in Russel market to capture the daily work of an ordinary man but we wanted the pictures to be extra-ordinary. The final idea was to shoot all that are real, real and real. We used Black and white and Vivid colors in Shivaji Nagar. Sepia and BW in Lalbagh. Almost 225 pictures were clicked and a few were really extra-ordinary. The decision of not clicking our own picture was futile, we couldn't resist...

Missed Birthday's
In The month of October, i forgot to send birthday wishes to 2 people.
1. Jana
With jana it was very smooth, i called and Apologized for not wishing on his Bday.
2. Ramesh Prabhu
This Dude, couldnt digest the fact that one of his right hand man has missed the important thing in his life and he took a "Mute Protest". Stopped answering my calls and finally said that
"The ones that are too close to my heart are the ones who rip it apart". I felt really bad for not being there when he really wanted me. Along with me, Lolly, aruna and sowmya felt the heat of it. Check what we did to cool him off a lil...
Jana unplugged - Those faces……………

Those faces……………
Those faces meant nothing; they were another bunch of good looking girls with an attitude. That’s exactly how I thought of them when I surveyed the class room gallery before I made the speech for an elocution competition. Happenstance, serendipity or illogical coincidence you may call it what ever you want, but I ran into them every other day and those faces meant something different every time I met them. One was brash, arrogant but unbelievable sweet that was how my mind conceived brendha. She touched a chord that meant so much but some thing I was never able to explain. Rasika, enigma is the word that aptly describes my first impressions of her. She reminded me of dickens tight lipped ladies of English counties. One thing that kept me interested in her was her uncontrollable laugh with tears rolling down her cheeks that for me were a mark of lovely human being behind that curtained exterior.
Mercy, I was circumspect with this graceful girl. I thought she never liked me but I would smile at her hoping that one day she would overcome her misgivings of me. Amudha boring, lazy girl with a beautiful face. I was confirming my belief with her that either beauty or brain one always outscores the other. I was sure she would be one of my innumerable acquaintances.
Priya, a saint amongst these mischievous girls and she commanded reverence from me. She would hardly speak and never spoke to me for good part of our first year. My respect grew manifold. Prabhu, though I knew him before, he gains a new meaning amidst these people. For me, I would trust him with my life and this was before the yearly clock stuck 2000.
Years rolled and when I look back, all these people have an irreplaceable place in my life. Have they changed? They haven’t but those faces that meant nothing means a lot in a disparate number of ways. Brendha, still as blunt as blunt could get but I will take back my early description of arrogant and brash, for me she is just a phone call away for any kind of situations be it sharing a good news, seeking an advice or just that call that you make to connect to your roots (devilish self), she still strikes a chord and my vocabulary still not good enough to describe it.
Rasika, American in all respect except for her Indian passport. On any occasion of importance, I would bet my life to receive a call from her. Dickens lady is no longer the description that fits her; she is perfect Ms.Bean courtesy motor effect while she sips something. She is one friend I don’t hesitate to fight because every reunion after fight has added extra fragrance to our friendship. Do tears roll down her cheeks? These days I only hear it when she laughs over the phone . Enigma? Can we have some discretion please, is what I tell her.
Mercy still has grace but transcended into a woman, my misgivings of her has given away. She is my antidote for my depressions or disappointments. Of late she is my consultant and wow recommendation of this consultant really works.
Amudha most of her acquaintance are my relatives and vice versa. She knows me like back of her hand and her son calls me “mams” and that aptly describes our relationship. My day is not complete without a mail from her. I feel dumb failing to decipher her efficiency at home or anything she does. Beauty and brain do co exist.
Priya, I only know her as thennai is one friend with whom unlike the others I share equal relationship of mutual bullying. Oh boy, my eyes glistened with happiness on her marriage and that said it all
Prabhu is still good enough to trust my life with him. The catalyst who made sure those faces meant something.
